Steve G. Smithwick is the President and CEO of Master Wall and Creative Wall Products, Inc., two companies specializing in engineered exterior wall systems that provide aesthetic appeal and energy efficiency for buildings. Steve founded Master Wall in 1987 and Creative Wall Products in 2005 to deliver high-quality products, outstanding customer service, and competitive pricing.

With nearly four decades of experience in the building materials industry, Steve has developed significant expertise in both residential and commercial wall systems. His deep understanding of exterior insulation and finishing systems (EIFS) has been central to his success. He advocates for engineered systems like the Continuous Insulation and Finish System (CIFS®), which enhances thermal efficiency by reducing energy loss—an issue common in traditional stud and joist systems. This focus on energy-efficient building solutions has positioned Master Wall as a leader in EIFS and related products such as air/water barriers, coatings, and adhesives.

Steve has remained guided by his Christian faith throughout his career, which he credits as the foundation of his success. His corporate mission statement reflects this belief: “To seek God’s guidance in all decisions and to give Him glory for any results.” He encourages employees to set high standards for both their professional and personal lives, fostering a culture of integrity and commitment to excellence. This approach has contributed to Master Wall’s growth and its reputation as an industry leader.

Steve’s journey in the construction industry began after he graduated from Southern Technical Institute (now Kennesaw State University). In 1987, he identified a market need for innovative and affordable siding products for commercial exteriors. This led to Creative Wall Products, which provided cost-effective solutions for commercial facades that competed with traditional materials like stucco, metal, and wood.

Under Steve’s leadership, both Master Wall and Creative Wall Products have grown significantly. The companies now operate multiple manufacturing locations and continue to invest in product testing and development to stay ahead of industry trends. Smithwick remains a prominent advocate for energy-efficient, moisture-resistant building systems.

Steve G. Smithwick is also dedicated to his community. He serves on the Board of Calvary Christian School and has coached high school boys' basketball for over a decade. Steve resides in Fortson, GA, with his wife, Donnie, and their family, where his faith and leadership continue to inspire those around him.
